Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 500 g beetroot, cooked
- 500 g gelling sugar 3:1
- 120 g horseradish, freshly grated
- 1 red chili pepper(s)
- 50 ml lime juice
- 750 ml apple juice, organic
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 dashes fish sauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes
Finely grate the horseradish and beets. Finely dice the chili. Combine all ingredients, except the gelling sugar, in a saucepan and blend with a hand blender. Add the gelling sugar. Then proceed according to the gelling sugar package instructions. Pour the jam into clean jars and let cool. Tip: Goes well with game dishes, BBQs, and cheese.
