Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced beef
  • 4 onions, white
  • 2 bell peppers, green
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch marjoram
  • 1 pinch of chili
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g sesame seeds, light, roasted
  • 50 g black sesame seeds
  • olive oil
  • possibly breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

steamed in a steamer

Halve the peppers, remove the seeds, rub with a little olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes, until the surface turns dark and blisters. Then seal them in a bag, let them cool, and then peel off the skin. Cut the peeled peppers into thin strips. Peel and dice the onions, fry them in olive oil until translucent, then add the pepper strips and let them cool. Knead with the ground beef, eggs, and chopped herbs. Season with salt, pepper, and chili. If the mixture is too soft, add some breadcrumbs. Mix the two sesame seeds in a deep plate. Form the ground beef into small dumplings and roll them in the sesame seeds until they are completely coated. Cook in the steamer for about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve best with leafy greens and a dip.
