Nut buttermilk muffins with sour cherries

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g wheat flour
  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 80 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 40 g almonds, ground
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 handful of confectionery (Ferrero Kisses), chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 80 ml oil
  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • 1 jar sour cherries, drained

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Combine all ingredients except the cherries. Then pour the batter into prepared baking cups and press in about 2-3 cherries, depending on the size. Bake in the hot oven on the middle rack for about 20-25 minutes. Tip: If desired, top with chocolate glaze afterward.
