Teriyaki sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml water
  • 125 ml soy sauce
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 50 g honey
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, roasted
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, combine all ingredients except the honey and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a boil until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the honey and dissolve it as well. Once the honey is completely dissolved, thicken the sauce with the cornstarch. How thick you thicken it depends on your taste. I like the sauce a bit thicker. Then immediately pour it into a bottle or jar. The sauce will keep longer in a vacuum.
