Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g carrot(s), peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • ½ tsp, smothered cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coriander, crushed
  • Salt
  • 1 handful of grapes
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

oriental-inspired vegetable side dish

Sauté the onion in sesame oil. Add the sliced ​​carrots and roast. Deglaze the vegetables with a little water and lemon juice, add the cinnamon and coriander, and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Halve the grapes and heat briefly. Garnish with parsley and serve. This side dish pairs well with oriental meat dishes, rice dishes, or grilled food and mint yogurt.
