Blueberry jam

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 kg blueberries
  • 0.33 kg sugar
  • 0.66 kg gelling sugar 1:1
  • some rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the jars and lids using a sanitizing program. Strain the blueberries and add the sugar. Cook both until the mixture stops foaming. Then add the gelling sugar and continue simmering. Skim off any remaining foam and fill the jars with jam. Dip some foil in rum, place it on top of the jars, and screw the lids shut.
