Herb wraps for Dürüm

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour, sifted, type 1050
  • n. B. Mineral water, carbonated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp dill
  • ½ tsp parsley, chopped, or mixed herbs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sift the flour and egg together and mix. Gradually add the mineral water until a creamy, slightly runny batter forms. Add the herbs and mix everything well. Heat a large frying pan (as large as possible) with olive oil, then pour a thin layer of batter into the pan. When the edges of the wrap curl, turn it over. Tip: I like to spread the wraps with Brunch (pepperoni/tomato or herb flavor). Then top with salad and vegetables of your choice, as well as gyro or shredded meat, seasoned with curry ketchup. Then roll up and wrap the outside in aluminum foil (it’s easier to eat this way).
