Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 400 ml water, lukewarm
- 30 ml olive oil
- 1 jar pesto, red or green
- e.g. dried oregano
- n. B. Salt, coarse
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
for the barbecue party, buffet, snack
Combine all dry ingredients and knead with water until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise in a warm place until it has significantly increased in volume. Divide the dough into 8 portions and roll each into a flatbread. Spread each flatbread with pesto and roll each into a log. Sprinkle with oregano and/or salt, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 12-15 minutes.
