Oat nougat bites

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g fine oat flakes
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 drop of bitter almond flavor
  • 1 pinch of cardamom, ground
  • 100 g walnuts, ground
  • e.g. Nutella, etc.

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Oat flakes and shortcrust pastry filled with nut-nougat cream

For the dough, cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, then stir in the egg. Mix the remaining dough ingredients and stir in. Form the dough into logs approximately 3 cm in diameter and wrap in foil. Chill for at least 1 hour. Then cut approximately 3-4 mm thick slices. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat), one at a time, for about 10-12 minutes. Let cool, then sandwich two cookies together with Nutella. Makes approximately 25-30 cookies.
