Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g butter

  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • 3 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

takes time

Heat the almonds, powdered sugar, oil, and egg whites over low heat, stirring constantly, until a smooth almond mixture forms. Let it cool, then shape it into hazelnut-sized balls (about 130 balls). Mix the flour and baking powder together with all the other ingredients to make a dough. If it’s sticky, chill for a while. Roll out the dough thinly, cut out round cookies (about 4 cm in diameter), and place an almond ball on each cookie. Lift the edge of the dough slightly and press it onto the ball in three places to form a triangular shape. Place the cones on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with the beaten egg yolk and milk. Bake at 160°C for about 10-15 minutes.
