Creamed Potatoes
The perfect creamed potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Waxy potatoes
- Salt
- 50 g Butter
- 75 g Flour
- 500 ml Broth
- 250 ml Milk
- Cream
- Parsley
- Seasoned salt from my KB
- Garlic pepper from my KB
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Telly cherry pepper
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 5mm thick slices. Cook in salted water until al dente, strain and rinse off with cold water.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour, toast until it smells like freshly baked bread. Then deglaze with broth while stirring and add milk. Turn the heat down and season with seasoned salt, garlic pepper, nutmeg and pepper.
- Add the potato slices and parsley and slowly heat everything. Refine with cream and season again if necessary. There was floured castle steak under mushroom onions and salad!
