Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g walnuts
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 tsp, leveled gingerbread spice
  • 100 g almond sticks
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 1 vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roughly chop the walnuts. Combine the sugar, vanilla sugar, spices, and 4 tablespoons of water and bring to a boil. Mix with the nuts and almonds. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the nut mixture onto the baking sheet and place it in the oven. Roast for about 10 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Add the nuts and stir in. Using two teaspoons, place small heaps of the mixture onto a sheet of foil. Let it set in the refrigerator.
