Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 50 g cornstarch
- 200 g butter
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 4 drops butter-vanilla flavoring
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 egg whites
- n. B. Cake icing (chocolate glaze) for filling
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a dough and chill for 1/2 hour. Briefly knead the dough, roll out thinly, cut out hearts, and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. For the meringue, beat 2 egg whites until almost stiff, slowly add 100g of powdered sugar, and continue beating until the mixture is pipeable. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a perforated nozzle and pipe a meringue border onto the cookies. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 15-18 minutes. Let the cookies cool, then fill the meringue border with chocolate icing.
