Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 50 g poppy seeds, ground
- 125 g butter, soft
- 60 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 150 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 jar cherry(s) (Amarena cherries)
- n. B. Chocolate coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with amaretto cherries
Chop half of the cherries. Cream together the butter and sugar, then stir in the egg, 1 tablespoon of amarena juice, and the cherries. Combine the flour, baking powder, and poppy seeds, then stir in. Fill a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle with the batter and pipe walnut-sized heaps onto the baking sheet, placing half an amarena cherry on each. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for approximately 10-12 minutes. Once cooled, decorate with chocolate coating, if desired. Makes approximately 30 cakes.
