a recipe from my childhood

Beat eggs with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar for 10 minutes until creamy. Sift together the flour, cornstarch, and aniseed, and stir into the cream. Place walnut-sized mounds on a greased and floured or lined baking sheet. Let stand warm overnight; this will allow small feet and a “skin” to form. Bake at 160°-180°C for 30-40 minutes until very light brown. This recipe comes from my friend’s mother, and I was absolutely addicted to it as a child.
