Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, frozen
  • 250 g minced meat, seasoned
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Puff pastry parcels filled with minced meat – just like in my childhood!

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Halve the thawed puff pastry sheets and roll them out slightly larger with a rolling pin. Wrap a small amount of minced meat (about the thickness of a thumb) in each puff pastry sheet, seal the edges tightly, and score the top of the dough. Mix the egg yolk with milk and brush the pastry parcels with it. Then bake for about 12 minutes at 200°C, depending on the oven! They’re done when the puff pastry is nicely browned! I remember this dish from my childhood, and it’s still a big hit with the kids today. It’s a great snack, for example, on kindergarten or family outings, or even at children’s birthday parties!
