Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g margarine
  • 175 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 225 g flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g white chocolate
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 pts. icing, white
  • 200 g marzipan
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • Food coloring, yellow, red, blue and green
  • some cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes

Dough: Put the margarine in a bowl and mix with the sugar until creamy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Mix the sifted flour with the vanilla sugar and baking powder and fold into the margarine and egg mixture. Coarsely grate the white chocolate with a grater and mix into the dough. Line a square baking tray (approx. 24 x 24 cm) with baking paper or place a square of extra-strong aluminum foil (24 x 24 cm) folded onto a normal rectangular baking tray and line with baking paper. Pour in the dough. Bake in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees Celsius for approx. 35 minutes. Let cool. Filling: Whip the cream with cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff. Cut the cake in half horizontally. Spread 2/3 of the cream on the bottom layer. Arrange the raspberries on top and spread with the remaining cream. Place the second layer on top and press down lightly. Decoration: Spread the icing on the cake. Knead the marzipan with the icing sugar. Divide the marzipan into 5 pieces and color each piece red, yellow, blue, and green with the food coloring, and brown with cocoa. Roll out the brown marzipan into a log and cut out 28 or 36 small circles (approx. 2 cm in diameter) with a knife, depending on how large you want the figures to be. Shape the remaining marzipan into 4 Ludo game pieces, then roll out the scraps into logs and cut out 9 small circles (approx. 2 cm in diameter) in each color. Now, using a “real” game board as a template, place the game board and the figures on the cake (and start playing!).
