Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of dough (pasta dough) from the refrigerated section
  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 500 g sausage meat
  • 1 pack of frozen spinach
  • 3 eggs
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • a few stalks of parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some water, lukewarm
  • e.g. vegetable broth or meat broth

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

makes 24 Maultaschen

Thaw the spinach. Roll out the pasta dough on a large table. Knead the ground beef, sausage meat, and spinach in a large bowl with your hands. Add the eggs (depending on the size). Add some breadcrumbs if desired. Season generously and taste. Brush the long, transverse sides of the pasta dough with water. Spread the ground beef mixture over the pasta dough. Roll up tightly and brush with water again if necessary. Divide the dough into half, then quarters. Cut 6 Maultaschen from each quarter. Add to boiling vegetable or meat broth. Then simply simmer.
