Tandoori chicken

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 2 bags of Basmati
  • 4 tbsp honey, acacia
  • 50 g spice mix (tandoori spice)
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the meat into strips and place in a bowl. Add the tandoori powder and oil, and mix well. Add the seasoned meat to the pan and cook until golden brown (don’t worry: the tandoori spice will brown over time). Once the meat is cooked through, add the acacia honey and let it dissolve. Finally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the meat. Meanwhile, prepare the rice according to the instructions. I always start frying it at the same time, so the meat and rice are done at the same time. Serve immediately and hot.
