Peanut Bacon Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of bacon
  • 75 g peanuts, roasted and salted
  • 150 g peanut butter
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 110 g white sugar
  • 110 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Crazy but good! Makes about 40 cookies.

Fry the bacon in a pan without fat until crispy and drain on kitchen paper. Chop the bacon and peanuts into small pieces. Mix the butter and peanut butter in a mixer. Gradually stir in the sugar and finally the egg. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in, then the bacon and peanuts. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Form the dough into small balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes and then let cool completely.
