Salads: Insalata Di Pomodoro Alla Montescudaio

The perfect salads: insalata di pomodoro alla montescudaio recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 0,5 teaspoon Mustard medium hot
  • 3 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar dark
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • Chopped basil
  1. Peel the onion and clove of garlic and cut into very small cubes. Chop the basil. Halve the tomatoes, remove the stalk and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix the mustard, oil, vinegar, pepper, salt and sugar with the garlic cubes well.
  3. Put the tomatoes in a bowl, spread the onion cubes and the chopped basil on top and mix well with the marinade. Let it sit for half an hour.
  4. This salad tastes great with grilled, briefly roasted meat or, as I like it, with a sandwich.
