Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- some salt
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- possibly carbonated mineral water
- 200 g chocolate chips
- 200 g cream
- 200 g milk chocolate
- fondant
- possibly sugar decoration (decorative flowers)
- possibly food coloring
Instructions
Working time approx. 2 hours; Rest time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 5 hours
For the batter: Mix the butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar, then add the eggs. Beat until fluffy. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Add the mineral water so the batter is less thick. Then add the chocolate chips and stir in. Pour the batter into a round springform pan and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 20-40 minutes. Then let the cake cool thoroughly. For the ganache: Break the milk chocolate into pieces or chop it into small pieces. Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan, then remove the pan from the heat. Add the milk chocolate and whisk thoroughly until all the pieces are dissolved. Transfer the ganache to another container and cover. Just before using it on the cake, refrigerate for 10-30 minutes to make the ganache spreadable. For the finishing touch: Spread the ganache over the cake and chill until the ganache is less runny. Roll out the fondant, color it with food coloring if desired, and then place it on the cake. The cake can now be decorated with decorative flowers and much more.
