Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g meat sausage with pieces of paprika
  • 1 small jar of peppers, cut into strips, pickled, red
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • n. B. Chives, cut into rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quick, light dinner

Drain the pepper strips, reserving the liquid. Finely dice the onion. Cut the sausage into thin strips. Combine the sausage with the pepper strips, the diced onion, vinegar, oil, and the liquid from the pickled pepper strips. Let everything marinate for 30 minutes and season with salt and pepper before serving, if desired. This is usually not necessary, however, as the sausage and pepper strips are already seasoned. I garnish the salad with chives before serving. This sausage salad goes well with fresh, lightly buttered brown bread.
