Chili Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 small chili pepper(s)
  • 100 g nuts (pecans)
  • 150 g wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder, dark
  • 50 g oat flakes (melted flakes)
  • 150 g margarine, semi-skimmed
  • 125 g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g chocolate (chocolate drops)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Clean, slit, deseed, and finely chop the chili pepper. Quarter the pecans. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Stir in the chocolate flakes. In a bowl, beat the margarine, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Stir in the egg and flour mixture. Fold in the chili, nuts, and chocolate with a wooden spoon. Using two teaspoons, scoop out a small amount of the mixture and form into thick discs approximately 5 cm in diameter and 2 cm thick. Place them on a greased baking sheet, leaving space between each disc. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat, fan: 160°C, gas mark 2) for about 13 minutes.
