Chicken fillets in green pepper sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 chicken breast fillets
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • some sweet paprika powder
  • some butter and oil for frying
  • 300 ml sour cream
  • 1 ½ tsp peppercorns, green, pickled – amount according to desired spiciness
  • some soy sauce
  • some Tabasco
  • 2 cl whiskey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Sprinkle the chicken fillets with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. Heat the butter and oil in a pan and fry the fillets on both sides (approx. 5-7 minutes per side, depending on the size of the fillets). Remove the fillets and keep warm. Deglaze the pan juices with the whiskey. Stir the sour cream into the frying fat. Crush 1 teaspoon of the peppercorns and add them (sprinkle the rest whole before serving). Season with soy sauce and Tabasco. Pour the sauce over the fillets and serve. Sprinkle the remaining peppercorns on top. Serve with potato croquettes or French fries.
