Cucumber salad with buttermilk

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 3 cucumbers
  • 1 cup buttermilk (500 ml)
  • 3 tbsp sugar, to taste
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Salt (I use about a heaped tsp)
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Peel the cucumbers and slice them thinly. Combine the buttermilk with the sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper and pour over the cucumbers. Stir everything briefly again and refrigerate.
