Mango Sriracha Dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g mango(s), frozen
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sweet and spicy: perfect with mozzarella sticks, nuggets, spring rolls, etc.

Thaw the frozen mango slightly and chop finely to speed up the cooking process. Heat it with brown sugar and a generous splash of water and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the mango is very tender and almost falling apart. Add the sriracha sauce (the amount can be adjusted according to your desired spiciness; it tastes a little less spicy cold) and puree with a hand blender (I like a slightly chunky consistency). Refrigerate until ready to serve.
