Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta (spaghetti, 1.8 mm thick)
- 6 tbsp tomatoes, chopped (Pelati)
- 30 ml olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, large
- e.g. chili pepper(s) (Piri-Piri)
- oregano
- Basil, fresh or dried
- Parmesan
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cook the spaghetti in salted water. Finely slice the garlic cloves. Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan and briefly fry the garlic slices (do not brown them). Deglaze with the chopped tomatoes (you can use more or less to taste). Bring to a boil briefly and season to taste. My recommendation: fresh basil and a little oregano, a little salt, and garlic. Season to taste with piri-piri sauce. Mix the sauce with the cooked spaghetti in the pan. Serve with Parmesan cheese and pepper.
