Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 150 g starch flour
- 200 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 200 g sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g hazelnuts, ground
- 250 g marzipan paste
- 125 g powdered sugar
- 500 g chocolate glaze
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes
for 100 pieces
Sift the flour and cornstarch mixed with baking powder onto a work surface. Add the butter, egg, sugar, cinnamon, and ground hazelnuts. Knead into a shortcrust pastry and refrigerate. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out round cookies. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes. Combine the marzipan mixture with powdered sugar and roll out on a powdered sugar surface. Using the same cutter, cut out round cookies and small hearts. Fill two cookies each with chocolate icing and a marzipan disc. Carefully spread the icing all around the “tartlets” and decorate with a marzipan heart.
