Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 egg whites
- 260 g sugar
- 150 g almonds, ground
- 150 g hazelnuts, ground
- 250 g nougat
- 150 g dark chocolate coating

Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff. Fold in the ground nuts and almonds. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Use a teaspoon to place small heaps on the baking paper, leaving some space between them. The heaps will flatten and spread out slightly. # Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (fan oven) for approx. 15 minutes. Allow to cool, then loosen from the paper with a flat knife. Melt the nougat, use a teaspoon to put some nougat on the underside of one cookie and sandwich it together with a second cookie, also on the underside. Melt the chocolate coating and spread halfway over the top of each cookie. I melt the nougat and chocolate coating in small bowls on the rack in the switched off oven after the cookies are finished baking. The residual heat is usually sufficient. The recipe yields approx. 50 finished cookies.
