  • 1 kg asparagus, white or green
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 200 g smoked bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • pepper
  • Salt

Peel the asparagus and cut into approximately 3 cm long pieces. Peel and dice the potatoes and onion. Dice the bacon as well. Heat the oil in a pan. Lightly fry the onion and bacon. Add the potatoes and asparagus. Season everything with salt and pepper. Add a little water and cover the pan. Cook at low heat for about 40 minutes. Turn occasionally to ensure the ingredients brown evenly. Add more water if needed. Any grilled food goes well with this dish, and a fresh salad is also delicious.
