Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 loin
  • 1 pack of beans (princess beans, frozen)
  • e.g. potato(s), depending on appetite
  • lots of butter
  • Fat for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Very quick and easy, but incredibly delicious.

Boil the potatoes. Cook the green beans according to the package instructions, drain, and season with butter and salt (I don’t skimp on the butter). Sear the loin whole over high heat until it’s nicely browned. Then cut into pieces and arrange them in a baking dish. Pour the fat from the searing into the baking dish; if there’s very little, add a little more. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika and finish cooking in the oven at 180°C (350°F) (approx. 25 minutes). It’s a delicious dinner that’s quick to prepare (just make sure everything’s done at the same time).
