Melon and feta cheese salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ slice(s) melon(s), (watermelon)
  • 1 pack of sheep’s cheese
  • 3 slice(s) ham, lightly smoked
  • ¼ iceberg lettuce
  • 2 small shallots
  • 3 peppers, green, pickled
  • 10 olives, green and black, mixed
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Deseed the watermelon and cut into small cubes. Dice the feta cheese. Slice the olives and shallots into rings. Cut the ham into small pieces about 3 x 0.5 cm. Chop the iceberg lettuce and pepperoni. Make a dressing with the olive oil, water, balsamic vinegar, honey, mustard, salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika (you can use balsamic cream instead of the balsamic vinegar). Pour the dressing over the ingredients and mix. It tastes even better if you let the salad sit for a while.
