Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 kg feta cheese, original Greek
- 8 tomatoes (vine tomatoes)
- 8 bell peppers, colored
- 5 onions (vegetable onions)
- 10 cloves garlic
- Salt and pepper, Greek
- basil
- rosemary
- Thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Grease a baking dish. Dice the feta, slice the tomatoes, peppers, and onions. Crush the garlic cloves and divide them between the layers. Sprinkle the feta with pepper, layer the peppers, tomatoes, and onions on top of each other, and sprinkle with salt and the remaining seasoning. Repeat the process. The last layer should be feta. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F), place the casserole in the oven, and cook at 160°C (320°F) for about 35 minutes.
