Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour (wholemeal)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 50 g natural yogurt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g dark chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

for 12 pieces

Mix flour, baking powder, and cornstarch. Cream together the butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in the banana pieces until smooth. Stir in the yogurt and egg and beat until fluffy. Stir in the flour mixture until everything forms a cohesive, sticky mixture. Preheat oven to 180°C. Using a tablespoon, place 12 heaping spoons, spacing them slightly apart, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 15 minutes. Turn off the oven and bake for another 5 minutes using the residual heat. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and spread it over the cooled American cookies on the flat side.
