  • 200 ml vegetable broth, 1 cup okara
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 leek

  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

vegan – enough for about 8 pieces

Basic recipe for about 8 patties Peel the onion, trim the leek, and peel the carrot. Finely chop all three ingredients and place in a bowl. Mix the oats with the okara and vegetable stock and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then stir all the other ingredients into the bowl, mix well, and season to taste. The mixture shouldn’t be too firm, but should be easy to form into 8 patties with wet hands. Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and fry the patties in batches on both sides until golden brown. Serve hot. Note: Okara is a by-product of the production of soy milk and tofu.
