Zucchini cream with feta cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g zucchini
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • ½ tsp ground cumin, to taste
  • Chili powder, to taste
  • Lemon juice, to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • olives
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Spicy spread – also suitable as a starter

Cut the washed zucchini into cubes and cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes until soft. Drain and let it drain well. In the meantime, peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and crumble the feta cheese. Puree the zucchini with a hand blender or blender, add the garlic, crumbled feta cheese, and the remaining ingredients. Mix well and serve garnished with parsley and olives. This goes very well with fresh Turkish-style flatbread (in my recipes).
