Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 100 g ginger
- 30 g garlic
- 2 liters of tomato juice
- 4 tbsp, levelled sugar
- 2 tbsp, levelled sugar, brown
- 1 tsp, leveled cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
First, peel the ginger and garlic and chop into small pieces. Briefly fry the ginger in hot oil and add the garlic. Stir well. Then add the brown and white sugar and let it caramelize slightly. Deglaze with the tomato juice and bring everything to a boil briefly. Season with cinnamon.
