Fried Fish with Broccoli and Mashed Sweet Potatoes

The perfect fried fish with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Fried fish:

  • 4 Breaded cod fish fillets frozen at 125 g
  • 4 Discs Lemon

Broccoli:

  • 1 Broccoli 335 g
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 0,5 Cubes (5 g) chicken broth

Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

  • 1 Kg Sweet potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp Sour cream
  • 50 g Freshly grated hard cheese
  • 0,5 tsp Salt

Fried fish:

  1. Preheat the oven to 225 ° C. Place the 4 breaded cod fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 225 ° C for about 25 minutes.

Broccoli:

  1. Clean the broccoli, cut into small florets and place in a steaming set. Heat water (1 liter) with salt (1 teaspoon), butter (1 tbsp), ginger (1 piece cut) and ½ chicken stock cube (5 g). Place the steamer with the broccoli on top and cook covered with steam for about 5 minutes. Keep warm until serving.

Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

  1. Peel and dice sweet potatoes and cook in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) with turmeric (1 teaspoon 9 for approx. 12-14 minutes ), freshly grated hard cheese (50 g) and salt (½ teaspoon) work through well with the potato masher.

Serve:

  1. Cover the baked fish with a lemon wedge and serve with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes.
