Gourmet Fillet with Broccoli and Mashed Sweet Potatoes

The perfect gourmet fillet with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Gourmet fillet:

  • 760 g 2 Packungen Schlemmer Filet à la Bordelaise TK

Broccoli:

  • 1000 g / in florets cleaned approx. 700 g Broccoli
  • Steam attachment
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 tsp Instant vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • Coarse sea salt from the mill

Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

  • 700 g / peeled approx. g 2 Süßkartoffeln
  • 250 g / peeled approx. g 4 Kartoffeln
  • 50 g 1 Zwiebel
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 big pinch Freshly ground nutmeg

Serve:

  • 4 Discs Lemon
  • 4 Stalk Parsley

Gourmet fillet:

  1. Bake the gourmet fillet in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 35 – 40 minutes until golden-yellow, remove and cut in half.

Broccoli:

  1. Clean the broccoli, cut into florets and place in a steamer insert. Put water (1 liter) with instant vegetable stock (1 teaspoon), salt (1 teaspoon) and a chopped garlic clove in a saucepan, place the steamer on it and cook / steam everything with the lid on for about 8-10 minutes. Remove for serving and season with coarse sea salt from the mill.

Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

  1. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes and potatoes. Peel and dice the onion. Put the sweet potato cubes with the potato cubes and onion cubes in a saucepan with salted water (1 teaspoon salt) and ground turmeric (1 teaspoon), cook for about 20 minutes, drain through a kitchen sieve and return to the hot pot. Add butter (2 tbsp), crème fraîche (2 tbsp), coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches), colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) and freshly ground nutmeg (1 big pinch) and work through well with the potato masher / stamp through.

Serve:

  1. Serve the halves of the gourmet fillet with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes, each garnished with a lemon wedge and a stick of parsley.
