Lupin strips in almond butter cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g meat substitute (lupin steak)
  • ½ white onion
  • 4 mushrooms, brown
  • 3 tbsp almond butter, white
  • 200 ml water, warm
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Parsley
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

vegan schnitzel

Puree the almond butter with the water. Shred the steak. Cut the onion into strips and the mushrooms into slices. In a large pan, first fry the onion strips with the lupin strips until both are browned. Now add the mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes. Mix with the almond butter and season with spices. Simmer for another 2 minutes. Add more water if necessary and stir in if the consistency is too thick. Serve with rice or spaetzle.
