Mediterranean Maultaschen pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of Maultasche(s) with vegetable filling
  • 1 handful of cherry tomatoes
  • e.g. Parmesan, grated
  • 2 shots of balsamic vinegar
  • some olive oil for frying
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • n. B. basil leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 6 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 14 minutes

Heat a little oil in a pan. Meanwhile, slice the Maultaschen (ravioli) and halve the cherry tomatoes. When the oil is hot, add the Maultaschen to the pan and fry. As soon as they are golden brown on both sides, add the cherry tomatoes and fry for about 2 minutes. Turn off the heat if necessary; the residual heat is sufficient. Deglaze with balsamic vinegar and add salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese to taste, and heat a little longer. To serve, ladle the contents of the pan into plates and garnish with fresh Mediterranean herbs, if desired. I topped it with fresh, finely chopped basil the first time, but fresh or dried oregano also works very well. Grated Parmesan cheese can also be sprinkled on top.
