Strawberry lemonade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 organic lemon(s), unsprayed
  • 750 ml water, cold

Wash the lemon with hot water and rub dry. Wash and hull the strawberries. Purée the strawberries with sugar and about a third of the water in a blender. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste and the sweetness of the fruit. Transfer the strawberry puree to a carafe or jug. Cut the zest off the lemon at the base and the stem. Cut the lemon into eighths, removing the seeds, and purée in a blender with about 200 ml. Pour in the remaining water and continue blending briefly. Pour the lemon water through a sieve into the strawberry puree, squeezing out any remaining fruit pieces with the back of a spoon. Serve the lemonade over ice. Don’t make too much at once, as the lemon zest can make the lemonade bitter if left standing for too long.
