Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 ml milk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 75 g sugar
- 1 lemon(s), the peel
- 200 g rice (risotto rice)
- 200 g currants, frozen
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Empty a pot of water. Bring the milk to a boil with vanilla sugar, salt, sugar, and lemon zest. Add the rice and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Thaw the berries and stir them into the rice at the end. Delicious hot or cold.
