  • 2 Discs Toast to taste
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Discs South Tyrolean ham
  • Salt, gourmet pepper
  • 2 leaves Basil
  • 0,5 knone Pickled cucumber
  • Butter (to spread)

Savory toast muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Two slices of toast and roll them flat with a rolling pin, brush with butter. Take a muffin tom and pour the buttered side into the well. Put in a slice of South Tyrolean ham.
  2. Open the egg and let it slide into the ham cavity. Then put in the preheated oven and bake / set for about 30 minutes. Take out and season with a little salt and gourmet pepper. Place on a small dessert plate.
  3. Garnish with the basil leaves. Roll up one / two more slices of South Tyrolean ham and place on the basil leaf. Finely dice the gherkins and also on top. Serve immediately!
