Tagliatelle with onion sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 450 g onion(s), cut into thin rings
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 300g tagliatelle
  • salt water
  • salt and pepper
  • Parmesan, freshly grated
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Tagliatelle with cipolle

Melt the butter and sauté the onions with the lid on over low heat for about 20 minutes. Add a total of 4 tablespoons of water, but do not allow the onions to brown. Stir in the crème fraîche, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and parsley. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and add to the sauce. Mix well. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
