Pasta with carrots and green beans

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 ml
  • 2 large carrots
  • 250 g green beans
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • some oil
  • some salt and pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the pasta al dente according to the package instructions and drain. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onion, then fry it in a little oil with the finely chopped or crushed (as desired) garlic clove. Peel the carrots. Once the skin is removed, simply continue peeling the carrot from top to bottom with a vegetable peeler to create attractive carrot strips. Trim the ends of the green beans and halve them. Add the carrots and beans to the onions and garlic and sauté over medium heat for about 5 minutes. If you prefer the carrots and beans a little softer, sauté for a few minutes longer. Add the cream and simmer until almost tender, stirring occasionally. Season to taste. Finally, add the pasta and mix everything well.
