Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 kg dough, pasta dough (from the bakery)
  • 500 g beef, boiled meat
  • 300 g minced meat (sausage)
  • 300 g sausage, Lyoner
  • 300 g sausage (ham sausage), smoked
  • 1 large slice of toast
  • 1 onion(s) (vegetable onion)
  • 1 ½ leeks
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • nutmeg
  • Chives, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the beef, then chop it with all the remaining ingredients. Sauté the leek, onion, and parsley in butter. Mix all ingredients. Roll out the pasta dough and cut out the desired Maultaschen size. Fill with the mixture, fold over, and press the edges firmly. Cook in plenty of boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. The cooked Maultaschen can also be pan-fried with a little fat; serve with Swabian potato salad.
