Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 7 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 400 g cooked ham
  • 400 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • e.g. chives
  • salt and pepper
  • some butter for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Cream the butter with a mixer until creamy and then beat with the eggs. Combine the flour and baking powder, sift over the mixture, and mix in. Dice the ham, bell peppers, and onions, and finely chop the chives. Fold all ingredients (including the cheese) into the batter and season to taste. Spread the batter onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven (convection oven) at 190°C for about 35 minutes. Delicious hot or cold. Serve with a mixed salad. For a buffet, the ham pie can be cut into small cubes.
