Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg onion(s), red, cut into rings
  • 3 tbsp marmalade, orange
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red (optional) cut into fine strips
  • 1 tbsp oil, neutral
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Sauté the sliced ​​onions until lightly browned, about 30 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Then add the jam (and the chili strips, if desired) and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. It will keep hot in a screw-top jar in the refrigerator for a few weeks.
